I thought it was your handiwork. You got me thinking about quotes about stars aligning & such like. I found a whole bunch of random quotes about stars. Here are a few I thought were pertinent to our current situation.

These two for the pragmatists among us

Keep your eyes on the stars, and your feet on the ground. - Theodore Roosevelt

It is not in the stars to hold our destiny but in ourselves. - William Shakespeare

…..And this. Bit flowery but I like the sentiment.

Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world. - Harriet Tubman

….But the one that sums it up for me personally

For my part I know nothing with any certainty, but the sight of the stars makes me dream. - Vincent Van Gogh

The next 10 days could be fascinating.

If we can bag three wins then Chelsea have to have a really good week just to stay close to us. It’s hard to know what to expect from them after last night.

                  38 more points etc etc

It's clear that there will be more dropped points to come from all sides.

Don't count on the chavs to do anything as their players have downed tools to get rid of the manager.

Feels really **** that, especially as just like at the Etihad officials have ****ed us over, VAR is here and we are probably 13+ clear and there is no "race". Pretty sickening. But I suppose taking more points from Palace and Leicester than City did v Huddersfield and Newcastle is at least something.

We have extended our lead so it's happy days in that regard. Yes 7 would have been great but 5 is looking pretty good.

In our current form, as in play rather than results, I don't see any game as a given. I have us losing to Utd and drawing with Chelsea. Think Bournemouth at home is tricky.

City have to continue to drop points for us to get over the line imo

                          I reckon 90, 93 will win it.

That's the problem for me at the moment the performances aren't great, we aren't scoring many goals and the defence has started to look shakey. Perhaps as a result of players being out and enforced changes, or perhaps we are starting to feel the pressure.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

How come City play next Wednesday?

Anyway, they have three games in eight days, Arsenal, Bitters then Chelsea. They're sure to drop points somewhere, right before we play united.

I think that's because the Everton game has been scheduled next Wed as it clashes with the League Cup final in Feb, and it's the only free midweek City have
