Klopp had an answer for this the other day. If he did bring in someone in, what does he do with all the others players currently injured when they come back? I think what happened to Clyne is exactly why he hasn't signed a rb this window. It's common sense, but some people don't see it.Are we winning?

Sell them. In certain cases, anyway.Originally posted by Fredo View PostKlopp had an answer for this the other day. We have too many injury prone CBs.
We should be looking to upgrade on Lovren and Matip with better players, without their injury histories.
That doesn’t mean we should get whoever in January though, but hopefully it’s something we’ve got plans for in the summer..

I don't give a toss about having too many players at the end of the season, deal with it then, just get the thing won ffs! Get this giant Premiership sized monkey off our backs!
Buy 3 top defenders, buy 3 top midfielders, buy any ****er that helps us win it! But win it we must!
I really don't want to hear the words...'if only we'd strengthened in January', as we pick over the cinders of another Title bid gone astray.
No more 'what if's', just finish this.
edit. Please.

Millis got found out once by a player who can turn any RB inside out with easeOriginally posted by Irishnev View PostMilner was exposed as in old midfielder playing as a RB vs Palace.
Trent is out for at least another game and is injury prone.
Hendo vs Leicester should surely make you wish he never played there again.
Fab I agree with but Klopp hasn’t played him there and we’ll need him at CB when Matip and Lovren pick up their usual injuries.Anybody who criticizes Klopp ever is a James Blunt. Nov 2015

As with Henderson he shouldn’t be playing there, Clyne is rock solid defensively and would fair a lot better vs Zaha than Milner.Originally posted by Nicey View PostMillis got found out once by a player who can turn any RB inside out with ease
My point is we are cobbling a defense together - Gomez, Matip and Lovren are very injury prone and we let Clyne who can cover BOTH full back positions more than adequately go......I would have kept him regardless of if he wanted to go.
Trent is young and will need his time being managed so we needed cover for him (Gomez seems to be Klopps perferred option) but he is also injury prone.

Trent is injured, Lovren injured, Gomez injured, VVD out of Bayern first leg, Milner doesn't have pace for RB,and we need Fabinho in midfield. The players we need in midfield cant be playing at right back ffs. Letting Clyne go was stupidity, totally unnecessary .Originally posted by Nicey View PostNonsense, Milner can play there, as can Fab, As can Trent, As can Hendo, letting Clyne go will have nothing to do with if we win the title or not.Last edited by danperkins; 02-02-19, 03:12 PM.
