But we need to find some form. We’ve got Watford home, Everton away then Burnley home. Minimum seven points from those. Hopefully 9.

Have to hope city empty the tanks today looking to win the League Cup.
Should be thinking 9 out of 9 really

One game at a time, lets focus on beating Watford and see what City manage to do against a reasonable in form West Ham team, after a big cup final with extra time and a couple key injuries

Keep the heads, men, we are into the final stretch.

We need to get a run of wins together, hopefully with some much improved performances, I don't think we can afford any slip ups in the next few games.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

They do have the best squad, but they don't really have another Fernandinho. And their depth in quality at CB isn't quite what it is further up the pitch. Otamendi is ropey.

That's true, hopefully he's out for few games anyways. Otamendi is dodgy as ****. Laporte is huge loss for them too.

It's for the greater good with thugs like Fernandinho. He can't assault anyone if he is injured

True ... I have been amazed, 33 I've been thinking surely the wheels have to fall off soon and what do you know.

Citah are a completely different team without him

Fernandinho is their most important player. Their run of losses in December coincided with his last injury. Massive boost for our title chances if he's out again.

Would normally say 6 is nailed on for them as West Ham are a joke away and Bournemouth open up v the better teams and get pulverised but on a Wednesday night after extra time on the Sunday with a few knocks then straight away to Bournemouth for the Saturday then who knows.

Still, more bothered about us, need to find a better level as we really should be getting 12 from the next 4.

Laporte and Fernandinho to miss games against West Ham (H), Bournemouth (A), Watford (H), Shalke (H), Swansea (A).

I'm sure City won't even notice. Shame they aren't playing Spurs or Man Utd during this time..

Nice couple of winter breaks there.
Hopefully some benefit there in the final months as games come together, but hasn't exactly energised the form thus far.

Our breaks and trips have only harmed our rhythm IMO.
