Wasn't easy to find the relevant bit there, but that's just an email from a Liverpool fan?

It is but at least the question is being asked in public.

Yeah I've no doubt that other Liverpool fans are noticing the same double standards from the supposedly impartial and objective media. It's completely ridiculous.

Was good that the guys on motD also sugggested that Man City may be feeling the pressure last night.

First time I’ve heard anything other than the LFC bottlers narrative.

City needed a dubious peno to get past a West Ham team very happy to roll over, they have more difficult games then us and 3 more difficult FA cup games
Potentially in April, they will play at Wembley either United, Wolves or Watford then Crystal Palace away, Spurs home and United Away, with a Home Game to Relegation battling Cardiff squeezed in there somewhere aswell .. then finally Burnley away , thats quite a horrible schedule and when they get through it ... Brendan Rodgers I am the next Chelsea Manager Tour Bus comes to town

I get the impression that not many outside of our own fanbase want us to win the league. It's odd considering our history and City's manufactured one. For footballs sake, everyone should be wanting us to win that title but the tribal world of football is irrational at the best of times. I think we are noticing just how many United fans there are working throughout the media and I am getting a sick of hearing the anti LFC agenda directed at us while hardly a whisper about City.

If we win the league, football wins imo.

It's fear. The fear that if we win it once, we will win it again and again and again.

People can accept City winning, as it's easy rationale it as "City bought it". No one can honestly say that about us and it scares them.

I do find it irritating though as we're a great team, with an extremely likeable manager, and we play exciting attacking football. We should really be lots of people's "second team", but it seems we're just not.

If we are to win the League, we will do so whilst posting a world record turnover and whilst posting a profit in terms of transfer spend.

Whilst not quite the achievement of Leicester, it would still be pretty impressive.

More than anyone supporter or player I want us to do it for Klopp. If ever a manager deserved it, then it is him. He always operates with class and humour and I want him to be up there with our managerial greats. I was hating football before we brought him in and he has rekindled my love of the game.

Same here. Klopp has kept me more than engaged with LFC.......football in general was starting to feel a bit ****e before Jurgen came to town

If we win the league, I hope the Kop does the whole "JURRRRGEN KLOPPPP.....NA...NA NA....NA NA" chant for ****in hours on end!!!

I think we have a reputation as fans as being smug .... because obviously we are just better than all of the other clubs and fans, it suits everyone that we have not got the title to go with the feeling of superiority. The idea of Klopps Liverpool with the Premiership Title scares the absolute **** of them. City has already won it, they have unlimited money they will be always there going forward .. Liverpool long shot could go tits up but that is not going to happen if we win the Lg

There's definitely a perception that we're a smug fan base, made worse by the fact the few idiots who come across as 'smug' also have a sense of entitlement to go with it... "We're a big club and we should be winning this year in year out" type thing. For nearly 30 years, our club has had mouthpieces like this and so it's no wonder in my mind why we've gradually done from people's second team to loathed and hated. Chavs like Jason Cundy and Utd wankfester Goldstein on Talk****e perpetuate this misconception about our fan base saying 'they'd be a nightmare to live with if they won it'. They're both just utter cunts though...

Also, there’s a whole load of people who don’t give a **** about doing things the right way. They don’t care about tradition, or whether someone has bought success. Also some people have nothing in their lives so need the bantz.

To be honest, who gives a **** what anyone else thinks.

We are a lot bigger than most clubs in the League, realistically, aberrations such as Leicester aside you are looking at a maximum of 6 clubs with the ability to win the League.

                              2 of them financially dominant.

Another of them privately funded by Russian Oil money.

                              Then us, Spurs and Arsenal.

None of us will be universally popular for myriad reasons.

I thought other fans didn't want us to win it because of how unbearable we'd be.
