Turning point for our squad this game. Without affecting our league position.
That's a good way of looking at it.

      I'll take it.
We are so solid looking. And typically we don’t get going until the run on to Christmas.

Amazing start to the season with Cardiff City to come at home next week.

It wasn't great, again, but points are all that matter.

We aren't clicking or flowing well but perhaps that will come together later in the season.

It does feel strange seeing the atmosphere around us being so negative despite our league position. Going into the game today I just wanted to get in and out with the points, there were so many changes, the international break and players played having picked up knocks.

          Another clean sheet

          Another 3 points

Fabinho came on and looked decent enough, forward thinking and quick passes.

It’s an excellent result. I said we are poor in the match thread but it’s excusable on this occasion due to freshness from international duty and we came up against a determined Huddersfield side.

Critics will point at Man City’s trouncing of Burnley and same number of players away on international duty but I guarantee you Huddersfield played ten times better than Burnley today.

You've not mentioned the game at all.

              Oh I don't know.

The difference is that most years we have lost games by now, and are down in 5th 6th position looking up.

As things stand we are unbeaten joint top of the League and we’ve not played that well yet.
And a third of our games have been against the other teams in the top 4

All happened during the game unless I'm mistaken.

                    What did?

You summed up the line up and the result.

                    Oh I don't know.

Damn right. Not winning ugly was something critics often said about Liverpool.

We are getting wins and draws this season where in other seasons we would be getting losses.

As long as we keep racking up the points, we are keeping ourselves in the fight for when players come into form.

It's been a fantastic start to the season. The defence is completely transformed. Give me grindy 1-0 wins and 3 points every weekend.

Aye, it's not a write up of the match despite the lead in, but a good perspective on the result.

Apart from clattering the post, having a good penalty shout turned down, an onside goal disallowed and at least one other good chance then yeah you’re spot on.

                            We were ****.

I'm not sure how them hitting the post with a long shot is us being wobbly. Was never a pen and was also quite clearly offside. Apart from that you're spot on.

                                Agreed

But why we squabbles, I doesn't knows.
