    This is it!

10th game of the season! Wow how time flies.

So far we have the joint best defence in the league and on track to beat Chelsea's 15 goals conceded in a season.

We now meet 17th place Cardiff who got their first win of the season in a 6 goal thriller. Fortunately we've also scored four in our last game but conceded zero

Oh and City play Spurs... Hoping for a draw!

I think your goal-scorers list needs updating, Salah has 6 right? Mane 5, Firmino 4...

Give Lovren a game and rest Trent works nicely I reckon.

Impossible to pick which 6 from 7 further forward.

The normal front three showed signs of finally clicking a bit more on Wednesday, so this should be a good game for them to gel further ahead of Arsenal when they'll really be needed.

Keep the pedal flat to the floor, and the pressure on the rest of the teams.
              Oh I don't know.

Give everyone a couple of days off after this game.

                        From the BBC:

Neil Warnock has also been speaking to the press. His Cardiff team travel to Liverpool on Saturday.

Warnock has said his team face a "virtually impossible" task to go and win at Anfield.

"It's massive. It's virtually impossible for any team in the current game," he said.

"I think the front three is probably the best in the world.

"We've all got to play at the top of our potential to give them a good game and hope they have an off day."

Warnock has also been asked about his comments last season that Cardiff centre-back Sol Bamba is better than Liverpool's £75m signing Virgil van Dijk.

Last year Warnock said: "I think Sol Bamba is slightly better than Van Dijk, defensive wise."

He has backtracked on that a little.

“I think I’d been drinking. What I meant was that if Van Dijk was in our team, you’d see if he was a good defender,” Warnock said at today's news conference.
                        Oh I don't know.

                              Liverpool team news

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has confirmed midfielders Jordan Henderson and Naby Keita are out of Saturday's game against Cardiff.

                              Both have hamstring injuries.

                              Klopp on 'character' Warnock

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp on playing against a Neil Warnock team for the first time in Cardiff:

“It will be a big pleasure to meet him.

"Maybe not in the 90 minutes but before and after.

"He looks like a character, a very emotional and lively person.

"He looks like a very demanding manager, and always has my respect."

Klopp on Fabinho's Red Star showing

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp on Fabinho's performance in the Champions League on Wednesday:

"I heard people were excited by his performance.

"He still can improve. Wednesday was the right moment and now we can carry on."

                              Captain VVD

Klopp has also confirmed that Virgil van Dijk captained Liverpool in their recent games, with Jordan Henderson and James Milner out, after a vote from the other players.

Georginio Wijnaldum was also voted as the current vice-captain with captain Henderson and vice-captain Milner still out injured.

Klopp said he selected Milner and Henderson but the players voted for Van Dijk and Wijnaldum.
