Head to head we’ve played 10 times with them having it 5-4 thus far. The last time they beat us was in 1959 though.

Well the guys brought in should be able to do the job against a team as woeful as Cardiff.
Biggest question mark for me would be Lallana slowing play up in the final third, but will be hoping he has me eating my words on that.
Moreno normally would be a worry for me, but Cardiff seem very poor on the flanks so he should be fine. I hope.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Lallana yellow card in the first half, and how early will we have a heart stopping moment from albert?removing all the weak links makes us stronger

Got a feeling we might end up drawing this. I can't understand playing a stronger team mid week against a very poor team and then making the changes for the league. League has to be the priority. Yet it plainly isn't.
If we win great. Just seems a risk we don't need to be taking.
How hard is it to give 38 games your full priority?Always borrow money from a pessimist. He won’t expect it back. Oscar Wilde

If there is any game in which some changes could be made, then Cardiff at Anfield is certainly it. Would not have made the same changes myself but we should still have more than enough to see off Cardiff in a comfortable manner and we have some good quality on the bench to bring on should we need it.I don't hate people.
