I really hope we pair Gomez and VVD in the middle for this. Just get the feeling they'll try a few balls over the top and Lovren is ****e at dealing with them.

Their defence is so poor, their midfield is average. Only danger player of note for me is Lacazette and his ability to take the shot early. The rest of their attack are fair weather players imo so they can be bullied and harassed by our defence.

They like to attack down their right with overlapping runs from the full-back (Bellerin) who pulls the ball back (everytime!). Surely the lads will have been given a heads up on this.

The question is whether Bellerin will play as an attacking full back or whether he will be under instruction to hold back.
        Bellerin is injured I think

He's to have a late fitness check, but if Arsenal are forced to play Lichtsteiner, Mane should have a field day.

Arsenal haven't been in front once this season going into half time, so hopefully we take advantage of their slow starts and kill the game off first half. They'll come out fighting second half, but that should play into our hands providing we do nothing silly at the back.

Would love to see Shaq start, but think Milner will get the nod.

          Allison
          Gomez Lovren VVD Robbo
          Fabinho Milner Gini
          Salah Bobby Mane

Would love to see Trent and Shaq start though.

Milner and Gini with Shaqiri on the right; Bobby dropping deep and Salah playing a bit further forward.
            Are we winning?

If Lallana was fully fit I'd have him in the midfield three with our usual front three and our usual back five.

I just don't think they will be able to handle our front 3. I'm confident but I know they are a good side, on a good run. On paper we should be beating these and I do think we 'll beat them today .

I am hoping the fact that they havent played anyone decent will play into our hands and they will be overconfident. I can see us scoring a couple on the break early.....hopefully !!!

The flip side of that argument is that they have built up confidence and momentum while beating the lesser teams. I don’t know but I’d be happy with a draw.

They've banged a few goals in but as you say all against lesser teams, struggled against the bigger teams.
Their defence is wobbly and midfield nothing solid so reckon we will outplay them.
Our imperious defence should nullify their attack, and our strikers will destroy these pussies.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

I hope you’re right. My gut says otherwise though. I guess we’ll find out in a few hours.

Bet he was benched and through a wobbly. He is one of the best CBs in the world so understandable that he's frustrated

Fantastic. Klopp has nailed the team and squad. Very happy with that.
