If we keep grinding results rather than playing well, eventually it will catch up with us. No way are we getting anywhere near 93 points unless we start playing well consistently. We aren't scoring enough. Defence is loads better and top after 11 is better than in previous years. Just in city they are such a force. You have to match them game for game.

Anyone else grinds out results and they get wanked over on here. We do it and we are worked out!

City's points tally last year is ****ing with everyones head.

Not the worst result and still unbeaten but more dropped points against the top six. Frustrating.
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

5 out of 9 points against top four teams away. Would be happy but for city's ridiculous form. When are they going to have players off form like us?

Should have won - For all Arsenals good play, our keeper had a fairly quite game. We had a perfectly good goal ruled out and had the better chances.

Good point my arse, Klopp will be pissed that we let this one slip

trent had a few wobbly moments and a few times i was shouting at the laptop to get him to follow the spare man to prevent the return ball. it didnt work though

Robertson was class. He looks and acts like a captain.

Before the game I was happy to get at least a point. If I hadn't watched it, I'd still be happy. When I wake up tomorrow on reflection I'll be content. It's just now fresh from watching us, I'm ****ed off with a pretty average performance. I know we can do better.

We can defo do better but I do think the dopers make everything seem worse than it is. I reckon any other season with Spurs away, Arsenal away, Chelsea away, and City home all done, unbeaten and averaging 2.45 points per game we'd be going on about how incredible we are.

It's sickening knowing we could get 95 + points, go the season unbeaten and it still might not even be enough to win the title because we have cheats in the league though.

That’s all fair enough. Unfortunately, the bar for winning the league is now so ridiculously high that any dropped points feel like a disaster. City are even better this year than last, I wouldn’t be surprised to see them break 3 figures again this season.

This season a lot of teams are fighting for something. Utd, Arse and Spurs for fourth. Chelsea for the league. They've not had a team, or two, hunting them down which is different pressure.

de bruyne out for a few weeks is a big loss to them, maybe not against the lesser teams but if they play a team that comes to battle then the cracks might show, hopefully.
