Simpler than that isn't it? Beat PSG away next game and we're through. We can do that

On the evidence of our recent away form we will do well to avoid a ****ing hammering. Good news is there are 22 days to sort our **** out.

Basically, the knock out stages have come early for us. All big games till the end.

I said it earlier we have had great results s far this season but us fans know (if you don't you are lying to yourself) that we haven't been good this season. we all thought that we were managing games and holding back and when we needed to we could just click again......maybe not.

The front three have been shocking, missing easy passes to each other, making bad decisions and also been greedier than last season. Mane has been infuriating from time to time especially tonight.

Our midfield is lacking the drive and dynamism from last season and they are not connecting to the forwards at all. Maybe Hendo can improve that - who the **** knows. Lallana is not the answer to any question and good as Milner is he needs to be managed as surely his legs are feeling it.

I said it during the game but how much of an impact did Buvac have on our attacking play. I remember reading that he was the "brain" behind all the attacking drills that made the off the cuff stuff seem off the cuff when in fact it was drilled into them repeatedly.

Tonight has been coming, don't doubt it. This isn't knee jerk and as I said anyone who has watched all the games could see it. Our defence was a little off tonight and didn't save us and we were made to pay.

I don't think the wheels will fall off but the CL might be over for us now which might help with the league but we need to shake things up especially in midfield.
very well summed up, and saves doing my own expletive filled rant.

being top of the league has given us a false sense of self worth.
some lads cant see the cracks but they are there but point out the less than excellent play or weak links and rather than being analytical you are seen as a doom merchant.
not really, but still, wakey wakey.

removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

This result doesn't bother me in the slightest. We had a **** game, it happens.

Their stadium and crowd are intimidating and their players were bang up for it. Combined with a depleted midfield and a soft central defender coming back in and we were always going to struggle.

We have a run of games against some weaker opposition so hopefully Klopp breaks out the heavy metal and starts banging heads.

If we lose away to PSG and Napoli win vs Red Star will a 2-0 victory against Napoli still be enough?

Does it go on head to head results, then GD?

Got up this morning and was about to watch this but saw the result by accident and saved myself the pain. I think we were sleeping on these guys and in the Champions lg that usually does not go well no matter how **** you think the opposition are. I thought fot the first 20 odd minutes of the first game they where by far the better side, they will still give both PSG and Napoli problems home and away, there is a lot of football still to be played. Knowing PSG have to win against us away plays right into our hands if you ask me, they have to attack, we do well against teams who try to do that and we saw from the first game, they dont have the legs or workrate to hang with us. We will beat PSG and probally draw with Napoli at home I think

It should bother you because this has been coming. The midfield wasn't depleted and the crowd being intimidating should not be an excuse.

That kind of **** show has been threatening. The quality of our play hasn't been good for a while. Cracks started to appear during the Leicester game earlier in the season. We've been grinding out games for the most part and the defence has been the fulcrum of our excellent start to the season.

While I would not be too downbeat, this has been a worrying trend. Something is not right.
                              Are we winning?
