Even more enjoyable that the shower of **** were held to a nil nil at home to Palace
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Didn't expect that at half time as I was expecting a scrappy 1-0. What a team we are.

Shaqiri has played well. Mane less so.
His starting position was on the right though. It's clear him and Firmino are playing different roles this season.

Massive win I must say though

Salah towards the end of the season played through this middle quite often, sure Firmino hss dropped deeper but that in itself isn't too unusual for him when he's the focal point anyway.

Worked out well in the second half. I also think Shaqiri is good enough to tweak the system to accommodate him.

It was good to see the front three combining today in the second half.

Thought we were great second half - showed a level of intensity that we've not seen enough of this seaon. Watford just couldn't handle us when we stepped it up

There were some infuriating parts of the game that I've seen happening in quite a few games lately.

He gets the ball passed to him and instead of running forward and crossing since hes got heaps of space, he passes it backwards slowing the play a little. Someone needs to explain to me why we arent making more crosses when we have opportunities like this.

I think Hendo was unlucky but unnecessarily rash and generally pants. The idea the the Robertson one could have been a pen is ludicrous.

Hendo's had bit of a stop/start season & played like someone whose a bit short of a gallop. As for the Robbo thing Watford are only fooling themselves if they thought they had a shout at that. In fact their fella (was it Hughes?) was lucky not to get a yellow himself.

I was inspecting kilns then out on the piss so didn't see it from end to end but from the bits I did see I want to give Robertson a huge thumbs up, he's ****ing tremendous.

All of Man City's goals involve getting as close to the byline as possible and drilling it across the goal onto an oncoming attacker.

I guess it's just the way the narrative goes when you're us. Not as bad as last match against Fulham when we were lucky that an offside goal was disallowed for being offside.

I think it's very important we were able to score 3 yesterday, not just to win. Unlikely we'll match City's goal difference this season, but I was beginning to see that thing when **** opposition senses they can get something off us, and they suddenly start playing like Barca and taking all these points off you. We've seen it so many times before with us, and I was fearing that some poorer performances earlier, and possibly the Red Star shambles, might have given some teams this same idea. It's also why City keep winning by so much constantly, I don't believe they're that much better than us, but they were able to get the scoring machine running from the start and now most teams just bend over before them.

We had that same momentum for a lot of last season too, and many of our victories seemed so easy to us, of course it was because we were really good, but you could also see teams feared us more than they do now, no matter the good results we were able to grind this year. Player's confidence, the media, fans hype, it all plays a part. Next it's Everton so it's difficult to demand a high GD win, but if we could get a few wins like that in a row, then I think the title could be decided in the game vs. City. If not, it will be more difficult for us to keep up with them.

Exactly. We've seen how most teams facing us just go super compact so we cant run through them like we did last season. If thats happening then go out wide and smash it in to the 3 that are probably waiting, and Robertson has a vicious cross on him. The west ham defense were horribly **** and all over the place against City. I'd say thats from city constantly crossing balls in and stretching their defense wide. We need to do it more often since both our left and right defender can cross it in pretty well.
