I’ll let you off the hook.

Yeah. Good point. Second as well. He’ll be knackered.

First half at times it felt like everything was going down our left. We need to use our right flank more (as we did second half) and mix it up a bit.

Gnabry is also a fast ****er so he is a tough opponent

Lost our last 5 European away games.

That's in our favour as surely we can't lose a 6th. Law of averages.

We will be stronger at the back and in the centre next time we play them. Very confident of beating them at their place.

Good gengen by wijnaldum on salah (****in move it lad)

Hendo diving in to a massive 50-50 ball like a reborn souness

Fabinho making a classy tackle n the box at about 72 minutes.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Not the worst result although I noticed this on the Beeb:

In Champions League history, 31 sides have drawn the first leg of a knockout match at home 0-0 but only 10 have progressed.

Even though we had several clear opportunities to score. We should have been three up (all fell to Mane!)

Will Robertson miss the QF first leg (should we qualify) if he gets booked again?

Extremely careless with our opportunities and half-chances in the first half, and disappointing in the second in our general play against a side who really settled for a draw at HT.
Still in a relatively good position, as if we perform (away form in Europe this season accepted), we'll go through as we're ultimately a better team than this lot, who, in reality, are an extremely average Bayern Munich side relatively speaking.
Liked some of Naby's endeavour tonight, as well as Henderson's pragmatic play. Fabinho looked OK against a reserved attack, but I'd rather him in that midfield as a base to work from.
Lot of poor options taken at times from players tonight, especially in attack in the second half, and frankly it was boredom central.

Was really hoping we'd turn in a performance tonight to set us up for Sunday etc, but hey-ho.

Didn't play that well. 0-0 is okay and we could, could get through but we need a top performance in Munich. They did well to sit back. We will look different with VVD back.

For me this was a great result. We were playing with our 4th best CB and one of our best midfielders in the back four. We kept a clean sheet, no away goal advantage for Bayern. Couldnt ask for more from the makeshift defence

We will have Virg back and Fab will be moved into midfield, that will make us infinately better in the second leg. Bayern will either have to come at us or play for a 0 - 0 result and hope to win on penalties. Either way we are well placed for the second leg

I think the way Bayern have approached the leg tells me we'll go through. They'll play more openly at home which will suit us better. We'll be strengthened and they'll be weakened by the Kimmich suspension

                              Advantage us IMO

its a close game - between 2 european giants of football. This is what being a liverpool fan is about. Remember when we fielded that **** team at the Bernabau under Rodgers? Look how ****in far we have come.

I'm of the mind that I just hope we give a good account of ourselves against Bayern in Munich. I think if we do then we will score at least 2 goals. If we don't, then **** it.....

The league games are all-consuming for me this season!!!
