I'm of the mind that I just hope we give a good account of ourselves against Bayern in Munich. I think if we do then we will score at least 2 goals. If we don't, then **** it.....

The league games are all-consuming for me this season!!!

Because the expectations were that we'd beat Bayern well, some perceive it as a negative result (not on here).

We did well, and Bayern know if we score once over there, they're in trouble. It's a good result, and we did look rusty. I think we'll be much more on it in Munich once we've had our run of games, and we should look sharper against the Mancs.

Last season he was pure gold.

This season he's looked pretty average in general play and his touch and decision making poor a lot but he's still scored a lot of goals. More average games than good.

Will next be more like first or is this his real level. Ie very good player but not in the Messi, Ronaldo, Mbappe bracket.
Yet he is still joint top scorer in the Lg. I think he has been asked to do a different role this season and even the mighty Bayern and City pay us massive respect for fear of our top 3 so games have been a lot less open.

I thought considering we had our CMF playing at CB against possibly the best pure centre forward in the world, we did what we had to do, kept it tight, had chances, did not take them but overall we played against Bayern Munich who have made the Semis I think 7 times in the last 9 years or some stato like that

I think Mo is being double marked now as well........ which is allowing Mane some space. This also might explain why Klopp has tweaked the set up of the front 3 slightly in recent months - to give Mo more space and mix it up a bit.

I do think that the addition of another forward will help. For instance last night, if we had somebody more dangerous than Origi to come on, then that could have made the difference last night. Four forwards where they all think they should start every week would be awesome. And at times, then they could all play with Bobby dropping to #10. If Brewster also got into the mix, then that would be very strong going forward.

The have to win in the return leg whereas we can score draw or win and qualify.

They'll be without Kimmich who is as important to them as Robertson to us, Muller is banned but on the flip side, Boetang could be back as well as Robben and Ribery.

Totally agree with the above , they are a very good side and we kept their chances to a minimum with our best defender out.

We were going nowhere in the latter part of the game, Origi had nothing to feed off and I don't think any striker would have made a difference tbh.

I think people were disappointed at the finishing that night, any positive result against Bayern is a good one but we missed a few very good chances that night
