I didn’t watch it, going to be on the road a lot the next few weeks and the only chance I had to see end game was tonight so I went to the cinema. Check the phone regularly and it was 2-2 for ages, when it went to 3-2 I let out a roar in the cinema and it wasn’t even at an exciting part

Just watched the highlights, regardless of what happens this season the one thing WE ARE NOT is bottlers and any ****er who says that should’ve banned. How many late games have we won this season against the odds, this is a team of winners

I wonder if it is written for us, tonight, Everton, Chelsea.....so many late points. Come on Leicester, stay with those ****ers and make them doubt.

Cheers Rafa you fat ****. Thanks for doing us a little favour and not have your players running around as though their life depended on it. Really showed your love of the city and people.

Don’t understand the thinking here. Why would he? If you went to another company and was going in for a piece of business against your old firm, you’ll just let them win cause you had fond memories of the place?!?

              Not the same.

Probably linked to the fact that every team we've faced has fought like a cup final all season whereas City have had teams bend over for them most of the season.

Glad we won, and glad it was a dive and a deflected header for the winner. Has really pissed people off and if no one is behind us other than us, that makes it a little sweeter. I like Rafa but if we'd lost last night the rose tinted specs would have been smashed for a lot of people

Well for someone that still says how much Liverpool and its people means to him and how much this title would mean to those people.....maybe he might've just said to the lads go a bit easy today.

I guess it really just stems from watching teams bend over for ****y like their former managers West ham did and it would be nice if teams didn't come out every single week against us playing like their lives and their families lives depend on it. Only to then be absolutely **** the next week

I'm not bothered that it was a difficult game obviously I'm not happy that Salah could be out, but had we had an easy game and gone on to win the league some of th bitter ****ers would have been moaning about it. We've had no favours from anyone no one has given us an easy ride and if we win it we've done it the hard way which will help the players in future.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Do shut up. You’re coming across like a child.

Of course he tried to win, he’s a professional being paid a huge sum by a club he clearly loves. Do you honestly think he should’ve just rolled over for us? They beat City in the corresponding tie... if they hadn’t then the title race would already be over.

That's the most ****ed up thing I have ever heard. I can get the Suarez thing (not really), but Rafa. Possibly other than Klopp, Rafa is the best thing that has happened to Liverpool in the past 30 or so years, possibly more. Really put us back on the map properly and if it wasn't for draws against Stoke and Ngog as a backup striker, we would have won the league that season. We had the best team by a country mile.

You expect a professional to line up his team and say 'Lads, these are close to my heart, don't try hard and roll over for them' and still be credible?

Jesus, I'm pretty sure next week we're going to be hearing that Dalglish is a cunt and Fowler wants City to win the title because he played there. Very short memories.

While I'm at it, the conspiracy theorist going on about the world being against us is getting quite over the top too. If Man City got that free kick which Fabinho won, there would have been riots on here. Maybe there's some validity to it, maybe not, but it's so ****ing tiring. It's out of our control and has become so tedious.

Football does bring out the child in people. Some of that's is bad, as you point out above, some of it good. If it didn't, and we watched as rational adults then the winner last night wouldn't feel so good.

The only way rafa could have influenced it was by picking a weaker team. But he has duty of care to the geordies, especially when he is fighting to get money for players.

Fair play to Rafa, love the guy.

Bet he's a sneaky bit relieved this morning..
