Games will be played behind closed doors
Also look at School Easter holidays being extended by a couple of weeks as the infection rate peaks.
Correct. As pointed out above, Italy have already put matches behind close doors.

Even if they do make us play behind closed doord, there'll be thousands gathered outside Anfield anyway. We'll have our own parade; they can't stop us!

If games are to be played behind closed doors, will they allow 3pm Saturday kick-offs to be shown on Sky/BT as a temporary measure?

That's interesting. Am I understanding it that when it's warmer there's less strain on the lungs so people don't cough and so the method of the virus distributing itself diminishes?

Pretty sure if games were behind closed doors, most, if not all games will be on TV.

CL is getting ravaged already, PSG Dortmund no fans, Valencia Atalanta the same, I’m guessing Juve Lyon next week will be the same too.

Yeah I suspect the Atletico match will be last CL match for us in front of a crowd whether we go through or not

I also suspect we might be lucky to get beyond the Palace game without seeing it go behind closed doors

Think I’d rather the CL was just cancelled if it got to that stage, though won’t happen as clubs will want the chance of more money. Watching Juve v Inter behind closed doors last night though was soul destroying, a huge title game should have had loads of fans foaming at the mouth yet just silence or players, coaches talking. Not sure it’d be fun even winning the CL in those sort of circumstances.

Agreed. It's just not the same sport. Football without intensity is next to nothing and there can't be any intensity in an empty stadium. It's not worth playing.
                        Thanks very much for being

Not Liverpool and not title race, but I'd imagine that Euro 2020 will be cancelled?
                          Another MASSIVE game

It will be all about finances which I think is why they will continue playing behind closed doors rather than curtail any competitions

They will do a short term tv deal to televise the games to mitigate some of their losses from match day revenue

Imagine Arsenal beating City on Weds and us having to beat Everton next Monday behind closed doors to win the League...how weird would that be?
