If we have won it by the Palace game (or by winning the Palace game) they should present it after that match IMO. That is 21st March, our next home game after that is Villa on 12th April, given all the talk of shut downs and games being played behind closed doors there is probably a decent chance that the Villa game will be behind closed doors.Originally posted by Liverpool View PostWe should be asking the question, it should be lifted next league home game its won.The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

but they'd still have the trophy out during the lap of honor assuming it goes ahead

It will be ready and waiting for presentation if it can be won at home to Palace. No way the PL will want a presentation behind closed doors. 'bad for the brand' type phrases are already being uttered about the prospect of a matches behind closed doors. A title presentation would be awfulFootball without Origi is nothing

It's a respiratory virus, which thrive in colder temperatures. As the weather warms up, it will fade outOriginally posted by Fivex View PostIs there any evidence to suggest the weather encourages its spread? It’s averaging 15-20° in daytime Iran at the moment for example.
But if it's not contained properly now its likely to become endemic, so will pop up every winter as another type of flu

I forget, is the trophy presented at the end of the season or the game where it's mathematically impossible to be caught? I'm hoping for the latter because surely they can't void that trophy if they decide to curtail the season later?Originally posted by ChesterDave View PostIt will be ready and waiting for presentation if it can be won at home to Palace. Because we have a large asian population. There's still very few cases of human to human transmission here.Originally posted by foresterbloke View PostSo why is it getting worse in Australia?
And not really sure I'd class it as getting worse either. There seems to be less new cases reported lately.

Lifting the PL trophy in front of no fans would suck for the players and supporters especially after such a long wait.Originally posted by Pepe79 View PostWinning the Palace game to confirm the title would be ideal at this stage imo.
IF so, I reckon the trophy would be in place for an early presentation in front of the crowd too, in case it’s not possible for the final home game in May..

But that’s what we do for the footy.Originally posted by Kenneth View PostIt’s not as clear cut as hot vs cold temperatures.
The temperature of the human body is pretty much constant, whatever the outside temperature so let’s not get all amateur expert here.
3rd place. Worst champions ever.
