Have you not been paying any attention? It's not a flu at all.Originally posted by Harv View PostIsn't it just a flu?
Yes for the majority it's similar symptoms but for some it's severe hospitalisation to intensive care. Also we know nothing of its medium to long term effects or if you can even catch it again. Was muß, das muß.

Sorry, where are the long term effects of Covid 19 published?Originally posted by Pepe79 View PostWe do and you can.
Also an article from yesterday said they don't know if you can 100% catch it again. https://www.health.harvard.edu/disea...esource-center
Can a person who has had coronavirus get infected again?
While we don't know the answer yet, most people would likely develop at least short-term immunity to the specific coronavirus that causes COVID-19. However, you would still be susceptible to a different coronavirus infection. Or, this particular virus could mutate, just like the influenza virus does each year. Often these mutations change the virus enough to make you susceptible, because your immune system thinks it is an infection that it has never seen before. Was muß, das muß.

'Ooh sorry, sorry'
I'd several reports about people in China recovering and then coming down with it again, albeit with less severe symptoms. There were some theories it could be the same infection lying dormant then coming back, but general opinion among experts seemed to be it was reinfection..

Tom Hanks didn't even know he had it.
The NBA player today was a game time decision and said he felt like he could play."When a man insults my country I insult him, by taking his woman" Tony Yeboah
"looking through your posts since 2007 and what you have consistently written about my football team I have come to the conclusion that if you had 1 more brain cell you would be a plant .. your father was a hamster and your mother smells of elder berries, I fart in your general direction ..." Nicey

Some people are lucky and dont feel it as bad as others. But theres a reason hospitals in the severly hit countries have no room and are telling some people to stay home. It certainly affects many quite hard. There are other factors too like if you smoke, if you're obese, or have other health issues. Then it slams you. Theres also talk from china that it has the capacity to damage your respiratory system long term.

This is a Coronavirus not the Coronavirus. It’s a new strain which whilst “mild” in clinical terms, most of the people are reporting that it’s still pretty ****ty. Those with severe symptoms, doctors are saying that it takes up to 6 weeks of intensive care for them to recover. And then there are those who have sadly died.Originally posted by Harv View Post"Coronaviruses (CoV) are a large family of viruses that cause illness ranging from the common cold to more severe forms"

So no, it’s not really like a bad cold at all.
