This run of wins we're on will be wearing them down. Yesterday will have been a kick in the nuts for them. They won 8-0 and in a tricky fixture we still didn't drop any points. That's got to wear on you mentally.

It's a big ask but if we can win a few more in a row I think they might drop points somewhere random again.

Split the points or better with them and they won't finish above us, despite the wanking over them every time they belt a team that looks like it's match fixing we are actually slightly better v the rest.

But keeping the two things apart, we could have said we would have won lots of European trophies with that team had the sad events not happened but we didn't.

You're right, no idea what I was talking about. I could have swore someone posted we'd drawn last year against 3 of our first 5 opponents and I thought it looked right. I'm wondering now if I just dreamt it because I was even talking about it at the weekend thinking it was right, without actually looking at the results.

I'm completely baffled now and I can't even put it down to drink.

haha no worries. Still a 2 point swing which is no mean feat considering we only lost one game last season

We're the first team to win the first 6 games in two seasons running, so that definitely caan't be right.

I've got to the bottom of it...

Chelsea - the kids are in for a Cebellos type awakening
Sheff Utd - will be all defence, should get at least a goal against them
Leicester - fixtures will start piling up around here, Rodgers plays open enough for us to exploit
Utd - need to not show any fear this season. A draw is a loss against such **** opponents
Spurs - draw. Even a loss here won't be disastrous as its just one extra dropped point. Let's win all the others though. Fully expect City to have dropped points in one more game at least up to this point.

swap sheff utd for any of the relegated teams and we only picked up 9 points out of the corresponding fixtures last season so im looking for a big improvement on that

Thanks, just seeing this now for some reason.

I got notification that day and was delighted as I'm flying to Manchester on the Saturday and would have been tight getting to Liverpool had it been a 12.30 KO.

Except it turns out I'm not actually flying to Manchester, I'm flying to Liverpool. That should be better, except we agreed to meet people in Manchester if the match wasn't on a Saturday and now we have to waste a day travelling there and back.

I definitely think I'm slowly losing my mind...

True. So technically my point would still stand if we beat City, except I counted Chelsea twice.
