The rest of the league actually having a go against City this season could make all the difference.

I think the state of their defence and the way they play, invites it, whilst we are both similar in our dominance of other teams, I think we do it very differently. There is a feeling especially right now, that City can be got at, if you are brave and play through the press, were as we seem to have a lot more structure when we give up possession.

I can see them dropping a lot more points this side of Christmas, and if we can keep our nerve we can put ourselves in a commanding position, with a bit of luck.

Spurs - draw. Even a loss here won't be disastrous as its just one extra dropped point. Let's win all the others though. Fully expect City to have dropped points in one more game at least up to this point.

What is it about Spurs on here? They have only won once at Anfield in the last 20+ games and through large periods of that we were ****. We are currently unbeatable at Anfield. Before Saturday, Spurs were bottom (or near bottom) of the form table in the PL carrying over from last year. We are on a 14 game winning run which doesn't look like stopping any time soon.

They could well fluke a draw a draw at Anfield and that's fair enough, but on current form how can you predict that this will happen?

swap sheff utd for any of the relegated teams and we only picked up 9 points out of the corresponding fixtures last season so im looking for a big improvement on that

5 very tough games,
Chelsea are playing nice attractive football
Sheffield United will be on a free hit and they play very attractive football
Leicester whilst very pacey still, and dangerous, if United can snuff them out like they did we should not have too many problems
United, we bring it this time.
Spurs thats a long way away ... who knows what state they will be in then ... always tough no matter what ...

All that said, I expect us to beat every single team in the world right now home or away, it does not matter. So we play our game and no freak decisions go against us, we win more times than not these days.

Couldn’t agree more! Let’s not aim to lose games, BigChief! Also the “a loss is only 1 more point dropped” logic is a bit silly.. we celebrated city drawing at home with spurs cos it was a bad result for them- it can’t be a good result for us, if we’re looking to overtake city!
