He’s got a better chance of winning something with Leicester as things stand. He’ll be off in the summer.

He'd be better off seeing out the season with Leicester, try to do something special there, and ask Arsenal to come back in the summer if they really want him.
It won't look great if he left Leicester just over a third of the way through a season, when he's yet to complete a full season for them.

I think in a way, Leicester doing so well can be a blessing in disguise. City are under extra pressure, sitting in 3rd and don’t seem to be coping well with pressure...
Also heard pundits etc. saying one possible danger for Liverpool would be if they get complacent or whatever. I’m happy for Leicester to keep us on our toes for now- hopefully by the time they (surely) slip away, we’ll be out of sight of city!I don't tip

Watched the game yesterday. Leicester seemed devoid of ideas (a few flashbacks
) but got a very lucky goal out of nothing really and that sealed Everton’s fate.
I’m quite confident to say that Man City will still be our main rivals.
Edit: also let’s be honest, this best defence in the country thing is a bit of a fallacy. Johnny Evans and Soyuncu are nowhere near world class so there will be cracks eventually.Last edited by Maxiedge; 02-12-19, 10:07 AM.

It’s weird to be 8 points clear in early December and for the mood to not be a little bit more buoyant
None of us predicted this. I guess we all felt it would be nip and tuck all season.
I think for me it it’s the World Club tournament. It feels like a right pain, will disrupt our rhythm and I just don’t care about it with the League title on the line.
One thing is for sure this month is crucial and it is so good that we have a decent points buffer. 8 on Leicester 11 on City. With that we have given ourselves a decent amount of wiggle room.Modifying post.

The other thing that is mentioned a lot in the media is that we blew a ten point gap last season. It’s not strictly true.
City had a game in hand and the next game we had was against them. From ten to 4. That goal line decision and Kompany not getting sent off were hugely costly.Modifying post.
