When you’ve got Andy Gray saying it was a bull**** decision and it was onside you know there’s something in itOriginally posted by Norbs View PostSo we've got Kami and Lineker now saying that yesterday's decision is completely not understandable and that it's tantamount to cheating. What's happened since apart from the Mancs calling us moaning cunts? Nothing at all. It's bollocks, total bollocks

I think it will be Fabinho, Wijnaldum and Henderson in midfield with Henderson playing more on the right like he did 2nd half against Man Utd. This will help TAA out with Sterling and ensure we have options down the right.Originally posted by frank the tank View PostSo do we though. It is great for the league that the best two teams also play the best football. From a neutral point of view.
Would include Leicester in that and say the best 3.
For me, Klopps big decision will be around midfield. Obviously there is no decision on Fabinho and Gini's work rate probably makes him a starter too. Henderson is the big call - that Klopp will probably start. I'd prefer to see Milner there but I wonder does Klopp not start him in the huge games because he isn't sure if he will be able to finish them? Plus Milner is such a good guy to be able to bring on no matter how the game is going.
I just think that if we start a Fab / Gini / Henderson midfield, if we are behind then we will struggle to come back into the game.
I worry about KDBs balls out to Sterling. I think Pep will try to exploit the space behind Trent and look to give Sterling a clear run at Lovren.
Big problem for me is Lovren, if Sterling gets behind TAA and Henderson its likely to be left to Lovren to sort out, I'd prefer to see Gomez in there at CB but I don't think that will happen. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

What Andy Gray did showing how you can move those lines around is important. These idiots don't have the spatial awareness and basic geometry in their heads to realise they are drawing a near total fiction onto screens.Originally posted by RichC View PostWhen you’ve got Andy Gray saying it was a bull**** decision and it was onside you know there’s something in it
I don't buy the need for something to be 'clear' on review to overturn - if you can tell, you can tell, so act on it. But it you have to go ****ing around with pseudoscientific graphics then you absolutely shouldn't call an infringement. That it actually involved redrawing it to result in a different decision is nuts.

Probably posted elsewhere on here already but at the risk of repetition . . . Keith Hackett former chief of the refs, pointed out on the radio today that the armpit can't be "offside" because it's part of the arm and arms don't count when adjudicating offside.
You'd think Martin Atkinson might know that

“I am not really in a Man City mood in the moment to be honest,” the Liverpool manager said at a press conference to preview Genk’s visit to Anfield in the Champions League on Tuesday. “Do I like that he says about one of my players? I am not 100% that he spoke about Sadio or about us in general. I didn’t hear Sadio’s name or know how we could have known about any incident in the game so quick after the game.
“I can say Sadio is not a diver. There was a situation in the Aston Villa game where he got contact and went down, maybe it was not a penalty but there was contact. It’s not like jumping over a leg and [acting] like he hit you or whatever. All the other penalties were penalties because he was in that situation. I am 100% sure if something like this happened for Manchester City they would want to have penalty because somebody kicked their player in the box and that’s a penalty.”Modifying post.

That’s next level paranoia.
There’s only one sensible post that points out that the Utd goal v us and Firminos offside armpit suggest we aren’t getting every single decision going our way.Modifying post.
