I quite often expand the table on my mobile so that you can't see the league places and then make it look like Leicester are top. The league looks normal. Then I reduce it on my screen again to include us and it's like BOOM!

I really don't mean to sound sexist (Jesus - you have to be so careful about what you say these days), but that is such a 'bloke' thing to do. I think a lot of us can relate to it.

Anyone think United can get something from City today? No, me neither.
But...
They've got a pretty good record agsint the best teams this season.
Liverpool - draw (the only team to take points off us)
Leicester - win
Chelsea - win
Wolves - draw
Sheffield United - draw
Spurs - win
They've certainly got form.Oh I don't know.Comment

They have a decent record v City at the Etihad too. I think they'll get battered today though - all of those results you mention, bar the total fluke draw at Sheff Utd - were at home. Their away form is atrocious. They lost at Newcastle, Bournemouth and drew at Southampton. They'll get murdered today, and tbh after decades of wanting them to get battered I can't bring myself to cheer for them today either.Anyone think United can get something from City today? A Utd win puts us 14 clear of them assuming we beat Bournemouth. If we keep winning (just take that **** for granted now don’t we) then we will pretty much be looking for a draw... or even a city win to create a bit of a buffer from Leicester.
Though Leicester have a potentially tricky away derby with Aston Villa.
This month is huge. I reckon (as someone else pointed out) we just take the World Club thing as a mid season training camp. That way we’ve got Bournemouth away, Watford home, then Leicester away. Those are the games that matter.
It’s hard not to be excited and spend hours gazing at the table working out all the permutations.Modifying post.Comment
