We also now have the best goal difference in the League.

Baring in mind Leicester scores 9 and City hit 8 in one game.

Chelsea in 4th are as close to Norwich at the bottom as they are to us at the top, and we have a game in hand, that's crazy at this stage of the season.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Our defence has started to look the part now that Gomez has had consecutive games under his belt. Long may it continue.

If we have more or less the same lead at the end of January I will start to relax a little bit.
          Are we winning?

We have taken 79 of the last 81 points available.

            That’s absolutely insane.

We also have 52 points after 18 games. In 2011/12 we finished the season with 52 points in 8th.

What this team is doing is just ridiculous.

              Aye

Also, from the end of F365's conclusions -

For a 22-year-old (re: Gomez) to show such mental fortitude is incredible. He started the opening-day victory over Norwich, then played 17 minutes of Liverpool’s next 14 Premier League games. He came back in at right-back for the 3-0 win over Bournemouth, started at centre-half for the 2-0 victory against Watford and has continued with a dominant performance in this 4-0 win. His personal mini-slump is over.

              16) And again, so is this title race. Liverpool have won 26 of their last 27 Premier League games. Leicester and Manchester City have dropped 15 and 16 points respectively this season; the Reds have dropped 19 since May 2018.

They have dropped 13 points in their last 45 matches, stretching back over a year to November 11. They will need to drop as many in their next 20 not to win this title – and that is only if the side they have just dismantled maintain perfection from here on in.

Klopp will play it down because he has to. The players will focus on taking each game as it comes because they are media-trained. The fans will preach caution because they have been burned before. But this is it. The next five months will only be as agonising as the last 30 because the long wait for a first Premier League title is over. There are no jinxes, no superstitions, no curses, no slips, no facts. Liverpool, the best team in the world and on the continent, are quite comfortably England’s finest
              .

Amazing. Just looking at the league table, even if City win all their 20 remaining games then we can still lose 4 of ours and win the title. Any further dropped points from City here simply gives us more buffer.

I'm beginning my countdown - 16 games to win! Hopefully, after tomorrow night we'll only need to win 15.

In the previous three seasons, it's the draws that have killed us. We haven't lost that many games. It's looking very good this season

Draws instead of losses in those 4 games actually makes it harder for City this time.

Theoretically, 3 losses and 2 draws would be enough to win the title too. So we can start a15 game win countdown from today but I'm going for worst case first, ie 16 games.

I reckon if we win the league, it'll be at the Etihad with a draw.

And 10 of our remaining games are at home. The 'big' home games are against Chelsea and Utd.

Wolves are very capable of taking points off City but City are now at the stage where they literally have to win every game.

It is looking good but none of us want to say too much, tough run of fixtures in the next few weeks, if we can get through them unscathed it will be massive.
