Be handy if we could give the big boys another rest and get a Man City style opponent in Round 4 for a change and let the kids loose again.

The 'kids' will be playing for however long we're left in the tournament.

After what happened with Milner no way Jurgen takes any unnecessary risks

Probably, but there's less pressure if we draw some lower league team. Ideally wouldn't really want to go to OT or the Empti' with the kids.

Some tough scheduling around the next round. Utd on weekend, Wolves away in the week, Cup weekend, West Ham away in the week so will defo be a similar side, hopefully can go a bit stronger though with Lovren, Fab etc. Be absolutely stunned if we don't get another premier league team, hopefully it's at home.

Match is sandwiched between Wolves (away) Thursday 23rd Feb and West Ham (away) Wednesday 29th Feb. That's already 2 away fixtures inside 6 days, so we might have no choice but to play the kids.

By the time the 5th round comes, we should have the league sewn up and can play who we want.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I'd love it if we got Derby and dumped Rooney out the cup

I think the "kids" have earned their right to play the next cup match as well, after Arsenal, Villa and Everton, they have performed so well. Maybe need a little help at the back, but if we get Matip and Lovren fit soon, they could provide that help. I'd like a little cup run provided we don't play our A team at all.
                        * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

I don't think that we chose to play kids as such, we rested the first team and they were what was available.
If we didn't have so many injuries I think we would have seen a team made up of the likes of Adrian, Lovren, Matip, Milner, Lallana, Shaqiri, Ox, Origi, Brewster Minamino etc with just the gaps made up of the kids, probably just Williams and Jones/Elliott make that side...

I think assuming we don't get too tough a draw we will take a similar approach and if we have a bigger squad to choose from alot of the kids that did well yesterday will miss out

Been a while since I have posted as too caught up in festivities and looking after the kids etc..

Just wanted to say what this side is doing is incredible

I have seen some of our great sides go on runs like this, 78-79 where we were just relentless, 81 or 82 when we came from miles back at Christmas to win the title comfortably, 1986 when we went on a great run to pip Everton in the final few games and 1987-1988 when we blew out of the blocks but what we are doing now is incredible

We've blown out the blocks like in 87-88 but we have the relentlessness of the 78-79 side

This is one of the best Liverpool sides I have ever witnessed, yes they might not all get in an all time 11 but they are some side

                              Amazing
Bob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

Indeed they are. I never got the opportunity to watch sides back then due to very limited coverage over here but this squad is as good as I’ve seen in my life. We’re on the threshold of going down in history as possibly the best ever Liverpool side but as they say, one match at a time.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.
