I'm feeling pretty confident now, the best I've felt in years when fighting for a title. Last year we were close but everything seems to be going our way this year. We may lose a game or two but I can't see us messing it up now, not with this gap. It's massive. Will be absolute scenes in Liverpool if we do win it. Definitely going to be there this time.

There is a part of me that thinks one of the causes of lower quality performances is due to the players getting a sense (though not complete understanding) that the club has been told this is Liverpool’s year in no uncertain terms.

Sign stealing and steroids in the MLB. Unauthorised computer access and spying in the PL. It will actually be funnier crushing them after they've won it. Imagine, they've waited 30 years, finally think they've made it then the rug gets pulled from under them.

I would love that to happen, but sadly nothing will be done They have way too many allies in high places, who are in charge in English football.

The problem is the western media is not interested in anything negative about Liverpool. Only one paper ran with the spying story and that seems to have died. Negative stories about ourselves are constantly repeated, whether true or not. Our historic domestic clean sweep last season was largely ignored.

You may say we will win eventually because we have resources, but to the public we will not be given proper credit even when we succeed, because of the way the media is controlled.

I love this idea that is constantly being put about that the powers that be want us to win it or our friends high up in football want us to win it and that it's all fixed. We haven't won the league for 30 years, surely if someone wanted us to win it and had the power to manipulate it they would have done it before now. Secondly surely if something was dodgy you wouldn't be doing it when the side you wanted to win it was 13 points clear to extend the lead to 16 points

They are currently screaming about Robertson non red card and how it was a horrible challenge. They also don't seem to think that they got a massive decision in their favour v us last year with a non red card. Robertson was help by corruption. They were helped by an honest mistake. Or something. It's pant wettingly funny how angry they are about it all.
