But seriously guys, how the **** has this happened? How have we gone from collectively googling Martin Broughton and celebrating the court case to witnessing this, after a decade of mostly bickering in match threads in between? I can't really get my head around it.

We are more points ahead of Man Utd (and Spurs and Arsenal) than they've actually got
        Thanks very much for being

It is a surreal way to go about winning it after all the close run things.

People are talking about the great season Sheffield Utd are having, and they have been awesome. They have won 8 games. We have won 23.

This team will be one we remember for ever.

More points by the end of January than by the end of 17 of the seasons in the PL era

Here is a crazy question, im sure someone here will know... its so confusing i dont even know how to phrase the question???

At the end of each pl season clubs have amassed a certain number of points.
The winners will have a certain number, this season we're smashing it, yet others are trailing so far behind.
Is the eventual points total won by all the teams in the league the same each year?
Do the top teams offset and balance out the poor performers?

removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

It will vary because you also have draws.

depends on draws init, either 2 or 3 points for each game

Ask Nev.... He's the math guru round here

Obviously the amount of draws play into it.

However, I know the point you are trying to make. Loads of people have said to me that "it's a poor Premier league this year". They point to the fact that there are low points totals below us. Which is ****in bull****. If anything that means its more competitive because there are obviously lots of draws. We've been so ****in good...... That most teams will have effectively started the season on - 6 points because they ain't getting anything off Liverpool.

There are obviously some **** teams in the league too. Manchester United were the only team to get a point off us yet they are still 36 points behind us after 24 games!!!! A rate of 1.5 point drift per game

Gordon deserves a load of praise and I should have singled him out but FSG as a whole deserve every credit also

Google says its only for the under 40s so that rules a few of us out

So some years there are extremely low points scores for the relegated teams,
When Leicester won the league they only had 87 points (we had 60 points in 8th place).
so maybe the mid table teams had taken more of those points, as there are only so many points to share around.
Yes, i see that draws can wobble the the overall points balance.

We’ve got more than double the points of United in 5th place.
