I would be confident in suggesting 112 points would not be beaten in the lifetime of anyone on this forum, not in a 38 game season anyway. AFAIK 106 is the highest in the football league including 46 game seasons. A trophy is nice yeah, but now we are this close to a monstrous milestone I think I'd give up the cup to do it. Not CL though.

I'd defo give up an FA Cup to be able to boast about 112 points. The CL is always the pinnacle though and a buzz that can't be beaten

Completely separate thing from the main trophy, so if the idea of commissioning a full size 'gold' PL trophy, which sounds pretty fanciful TBH (think that story picked up the idea wrong), then I'd be all for it.
