At the rate things are going the CL final might be closed off to fans. Already happening in italian games.

Closing down some public events but not others is bizarre. Football games are held outside and it's easily possible to go to a match without putting anything hand to mouth. They're not shutting restaurants, food halls, cafes or shopping malls and the risk there must be greater. I was in a bakery this morning and a member of staff coughed and only just turned away in time. Dirty ******* didn't use her hand.

Why hasn't the government commissioned public service announcements on the radio, internet and tv, explaining to wash your hands thoroughly after being in a public place and not to touch your face with your hands when out in public? We get bombarded with pointless **** but not a peep from them advising how to act

Current focus on containment, not mitigation. Priority is getting people to isolate and notify if symptomatic so testing and contact tracking can be considered. If we get outbreaks we will move to mitigation, things will change.

If we're hearing about it I'm sure the FA will in their investigations should it happen. They'll get smashed for it. Pre-meditated disruption of the game.
