The youtube coverage was ok, lots of ghosting thoughOriginally posted by Pepe79 View PostTheir YouTube stream was useless though. Why didn't they make it available on Freeview too, like they did with both the 2016 European finals?
It should have been on freeview no doubt about that

Shame the final is not free to air, but glad BT and not Sky have the rights

Although the Champions League is no longer free to watch as it previously was on ITV, football.london report the viewership for the final was up 76% in the UK.
However, the viewing figures for the final worldwide were down 53% due to moving behind pay TV.
Brazil, who are the biggest consumers of the Champions League, saw a drop of over 90% in terms of viewership, with Germany, who are seen as one of the major footballing nations, also seeing figures plummet.
BT Sport will once again broadcast Europe’s top competition next season as they extended their their deal until 2021 back in March 2017.

6'1" and 36. I ain't going down. However I'm rarely finely balanced at full stretch.
That's what we tend to forget. Football is often played finely balanced at full stretch, that's why they go down easy not because they're made of tissue.
Though some of them are diving granted, but not always.

5'10" and 11st! WTFOriginally posted by BobTheCharmer View PostWe have all become accustomed to players cheating for years. The commentators endorse it. The pundits rarely condone it. I'm 5'10 and about 11 stone, I'm not going down if someone lays an arm on my shoulder, so no way should these muscle bound athletes be doing so either. Its become as much a part of the game as having 11 players and 2 halfs of 45 minutes. Doesn't mean we have to like it or accept it.

Commentators and pundits are two faced ****s.
If I had a pound for every time I heard one of them say "entitled to go down" over the 15 or 20 years I wouldn't be dragging my arse out of bed for work tomorrow. An entire generation of footballers has grown up being told they are allowed to cheat. And the same pundits in a desperate attempt to appear enlightened and moral have suddenly taken to criticising, usually foreign, players that follow that mantra.
