Wouldn't be a terrible idea to go for a similar type of signing to what Chelsea did with Boulahrouz. Far from the best player in the world, but has the right mentality and can play in any of the back 4 positions. We don't have the biggest squad in the world and a few more injuries could put a lot of pressure on particular players.

I think if he's training he'd be doing so as normal, no need for smoke and mirrors.

I don't think we need to go and buy a defender who's gonna eventually sit on the bench most of the time. I thought Klopp rated Nat Phillips but he's been out on loan this season. I've watched him play a few times over the last two pre seasons and I think he's got quality.

We defo need a senior cb who can be cover at CB or DM, similar to our signing of klavan, to help to fill the void until van den berg can lace gomez's boots.
