I hope we look to get him involved again like he was initially this season until the injury.
Maybe he just needs a bit more recovery and a pre season behind him to get up to scratch again.
Would be a blow if needs to go on loan again, because that definitely didn’t look like the direction he was going in at the start of this season..

I think he may just not quite be where they thought he was physically, and we a combination of a) having the luxury of giving him time b) not having the luxury of playing players into rhythm given the importance of our games. If that makes sense. It makes sense in my head anyway
The start of the season shows how much he is rated - i'd be surprised if he was loaned

I don't think its down to Elliott, we're just at crunch time with the season and we can't afford any passengers - and that's not a disservice to him but him growing into a role at LFC isn't really ideal when you're going for 3 trophies.
I'm sure given another pre-season he'll be a lot closer to the starting 11.James Philip Milner Fanclub #1

Klopp has his go to guys now and unless guys are injured then that’s what he will trust to use

I think he'll make a token sub appearance at some point at best. He seems to be back behind Curtis in the pecking order.
I suspect at times like this they will use the opportunity to work on some aspect of his game or fitness/physical condition.
I'm sure he will come back better for it in pre-season anyway.

Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

I imagine his limited involvement is down to lack of match fitness and sharpness, something that only a full preseason will give him, and risking him in games now, where every game is a 'final' isn't something we can contemplate. Next season, I expect to see him back fighting for a place in Klopp's thoughts, be it a starting berth or a legitimate option to bring on from the bench.

There's no chance he's going on loan next season, he can only get even better training with world class players and learning his craft from them as well as applying his own talents.
He'll be put on a strength programme too and with a full pre-season, I think we'll see a bloody good player! Was muß, das muß.

Nah when Barella, Nkunku and Tchouameni come in the summer he will have to go out on loan, maybe to Fulham
