I thought Adrian was outstanding yesterday, that double save, and nearly had the peno and generally I was confident with him on the pitch. Considering he had no club in and we paid nothing for him, he's the most able deputy I can imagine we could have had.

Definitely head and shoulders above Mignolet. Not amazing, but everything you'd want in a number 2. Has some presence too, I like him. That save was outstanding. That being said, can't wait for Alisson to come back.

That save impresses me more and more. Never lost focus on the ball, even when VvD jumped. Preempted both a misjudged flick by VvD into the net if he touched it and Martens run if he didn't. Then the magic happened. It was like watching Alisson at that moment.

I feel a bit sorry for him, he's put in some great performances, but only has one(?) clean sheet, so in a way his record doesn't really back up his performances.

He's about as good as a number 2 gets, surely. I'll still be surprised - and delighted - if we get through this spell without one of his brain farts costing us points, but he's doing an exceptional job. Couldn't really ask for any more.
