    -------------------

    This is it!

We start the Champions League as the current holders and the team to beat. For the opposition it's either additional incentive to play well or the feeling of inevitable defeat.

For Napoli I'd say the former which means Klopp has a difficult selection decision to make consider we have Chelsea at the weekend.

Get a win here and we're set up nicely for the rest of the group.

Probably the toughest game of the group. Being somewhat pragmatic but a draw or better would be a good result.

Rest some players. Gomez will be in for Trent 100% but I'd like him to cover one of the centre backs. At least one of the front 3 to sit it out. We'll qualify at ease. Full strength and fully rested for Chelsea.

Wonder if we'll see Lovren and Gomez in defence and Milner in midfield. Maybe rest Gini for the weekend?
        * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Tuesday to Sunday is more than enough time and MK next midweek so will be strong. I think righting last years performance as well.

Although I do expect Gomez (Klopp loves him and needs games), Milner (has been immense for us in Europe last two years) and Shaq to start (There has to be a reason he stayed behind during last international break).
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I would play Fabinho for sure in this. When is Naby due back by the way?
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

                  Adrian
                  Gomez Matip VVD Robertson
                  Henderson Fabinho Milner
                  Salah Firmino Mane

As someone said, we play on a Tuesday so there's plenty of rest before Chelsea. I think away from home we might see Gomez at RB and Milner given a start in midfield, with Hendo getting 60 mins to keep him fresh for Chelsea also.

Aye....think Milner might start this and Henderson for Sunday, but will see some action.

Didn't we go there unbeaten this time last year? And lost obviously.

Think we'll be mega fired up to not let that happen again.

I'd go as strong as possible tbh.

Think Big Shaq will start this one.

It was our 'wobble' period last season.

                            2 loses and 2 draws.

They are missing two of there key players, most importantly Insigne, I am pretty sure he is out, one of there most dangerous players, regularly has torn Trent a new one
