Good stops from Adrian. Linesman doing his job well. Think VVD caught out on the initial phase playing them on.

        Crazy amount of empty seats
We managed to rectify it, though, because it now says, "Cook" where it once said "Cock", and "Pass" where it once said "Piss", so it’s slightly less rude.

I doubt this game is going to continue at this tempo.

Koulibay, as usual, verges from the brilliant to the brutal.

Some decent defending in spots here from Matip and TAA.

Cynical foul from Mertens. Guess the ref forgot his yellow cards

I know it’s scoreless but we are playing well here - keeping the ball for long stretches and making changes. Big difference from this game last season

Better ball from Milner and that's the opener

Bobby just wide from the resulting corner.

Koulibay and Rui have been outstanding and kept Salah away from dangerous positions. Still, we look pretty good and have defended well ourselves. No complaints about 0-0 away to Napoli at HT, we aren't set up to be expansive.

Why United didn't go for Koulibaly I don't know, but thank **** they didn't.

This is a proper game of football. Firmino could do with dropping deeper IMO plenty of space between their lines.

They are really quick in the transition (both ways) but this pace will be taking more out of their legs than they are used to. I'd be tempted to bring Wijnaldum into the mix and get a bit more control on the ball, maybe even sacrificing Fabinho who is showing signs of tiredness.

Playing better than last year. I just think with that midfield 3, against an organised team, with tactical nous, we struggle to create much. It's all very beige. Take a point though. To be honest we qualify with our eyes shut. Just stay injury free.

Is this game at a neutral ground or something, be interesting to see a camera shot of the other stands cos it looks like no one has told the supporters this is being played tonight.

Same as Dyabala. Who wants to play for Utd these days?
