    This is it!

We narrowly beat this season's Ajax but showed our mettle with a late winner. A draw with Man Utd isn't what we expected but the bright side is Keita, Lallana and Ox contributing positively.

I hope we rest Salah for the Spurs match and maybe put Mane back on the left with Origi on the right?

I would like to rest Mane and Salah for Spurs. Risky taking a CL away game so lightly but we have the players that can prove themselves. I'm confident in :

    Alisson
    TAA Matip VvD Robertson
    Milner Fab Keita
    Lallana Firmino Origi

If its still 0-0 by 60 mins then bring on Mane and Ox. The above team is strong enough to hold off any attacks from Gent.
    One tit for another.

For me, hope to see something like this, unless Matip is 100% fit:

      Alisson
      TAA Gomez/Lovren VVD Robertson
      Milner Fab Keita
      Mane Firmino Origi

Ox needs minutes as well though. We need to win both games against Genk and they held Napoli here to a draw.

I'd happily try Ox in the front three ahead of Origi at the moment.

Where's Shaqiri? Would probably be the best choice as a like for like swap for Salah if he's still out.

Or, maybe develop a plan B, 4-4-2 or a diamond?

I felt like he could do with a rest anyway. Easy change with Gomez.

I'd rather Milner played there tbh

Meh need Milner in midfield. Don't see Genk putting too many diagonal balls over Gomez's shoulders for royal fk ups. Surely they've not been studying him?

It's Gomez being a complete non-entitry with the ball when he crosses halfway that bothers me the most.

I'd play Fab, Keita and Ox in midfield.

                        Matip left behind too

Mohamed Salah returns to the Liverpool squad for Wednesday's Champions League clash with Genk, but Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joel Matip are set to miss out.

Salah takes his place among the 19 travelling players who departed John Lennon Airport on Tuesday afternoon for Belgium after missing Sunday’s 1-1 draw at Manchester United.

However, Alexander-Arnold remains on Merseyside due to a virus, as does Matip, who has a sore knee.

Liverpool squad: Alisson, Fabinho, Van Dijk, Wijnaldum, Lovren, Milner, Keita, Firmino, Mane, Salah, Gomez, Adrian, Henderson, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Lallana, Brewster, Robertson, Origi, Kelleher.

After a win and a defeat in Group E so far, Jürgen Klopp’s side face the Belgian title-holders away from home in the first of back-to-back meetings between the clubs.

surely if Salah can travel to Belgium then he'd have been okay for 10-15 minutes on Sunday......

Will be interesting to see how the players coming in step up. We will need a squad in the next few months

removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

                              Maybe a team like:
