I'm not sure we can afford to rest too many

Yeah not sure I would start Brewster..... surely Origi will get the nod again if one of the front 3 are rested

i actually think the front 3 should all start if possible. Let them hopefully find some rhythm before the weekend......and hopefully substitute them later in the game if possible.

I think the fact that we lost the first game means we need 6 points against Genk.

Bobby looks a little knackered, the fifa circus friendlies take their toll due to travel fatigue

Would we consider resting Alison for this ? I’m not sure about injury management but is it wise for him to play 3 matches in a week straight back from a long lay off?
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Not sure that resting was the right word. Sparing maybe?

We go pretty strong in Europe and rightly so. The group is tough and we'll need to go big to qualify.

Alison plays GK, not CM so I reckon he'll be fine.

Is a leg muscle different for a CB ?

                          For me:

                          -----------Becker
                          Milner-Lovren-VVD-Robertson
                          ---------Fabinho-----------
                          ------AOC--------Keita/Lallana
                          Origi-----Firmino-----Mane

                            ----------Becker
                            Gomez-Lovren-VVD-Robertson
                            ---------Fabinho
                            ------Hendo--------Milner
                            Salah-----Firmino-----Mane

I think that'll be the line up. AOC isn't likely to start games and if he does he isn't finishing them. Keita is close but I think we'll be careful, he may get in ahead of Henderson.

I would be amazed if that happens, hasn't he only played one league cup game.?
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

He played in the U23's the other day, and Neil Critchley was talking about him getting up to full fitness, as he's been used in different roles.
