Delighted for the youngsters. It was a flawed performance but what could you expect from a team where a lot of them had never experienced a game at Anfield. So so important that they get the chance to play and now they've earned another game.

I thought Gomez played well, marshalled a very young defence quite nicely.

You cant judge a game like that the same way you do a 1st team game imo. You just sit back and enjoy it. The young lads will have learned loads.
