Thanjk you.

I don't think it would be an issue. Fringe players might prefer a guaranteed start and the chance to win a league cup medal.
For the fringe players the more games we have the better for them so they won't want us to get knocked out of the league cup, they are guaranteed two more games at least if they get through to the semis.
I wonder if the club will give guarantees to those that miss out on Qatar that they'll play in any subsequent rounds? Can you imagine playing the kids in the final and getting spanked with VVD, Alisson, TAA, Mane and Salah watching in the stands. That would be so odd
I'd reckon they leave a few first teamer's for the Mickey Mouse Cup, then they join the squad for the Final in Qatar. I do think there will be a decent mix of both. Usually the first game is a n easy walkover ...

Yeah, that won't happen. GK is usually the position that stays the same for a final.
It's not a second eleven, it's a whole squad. There are absolutely teams that wouldn't even be able to contemplate it, but then they also don't have the depth to win a CL either. #clwinningproblems
The club has promised to field a team consistent with those fielded in the previous games.
I think Lallana, Chamberlain etc won't be going to Qatar.
Are their any issues between Qatar and Egypt that could affect Salah going?
Isn't Egypt part of the blockade alliance against Qatar?
Yes . . and I believe Qatar are not issuing Egyptians with tourist visas.
Presumably Mo would come in on a business visa. I doubt there are issues getting one of those because there are lots of Egyptian migrants working there and he's coming because of his job.
I wouldn't want to set foot in a country that didn't welcome me and given his world standing would love to see him make a massive point of highlighting it

Wouldn't surprise me if the Egyptian fa didnt pop up to mention it.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.
What is somewhat frustrating is that if we were to beat napoli in the next CL game then we could play Villa the day before/after the salzburg away game - with youth in that game.

Maybe we'll approach the EFL if that scenario happens but may then get fined by UEFA for sending a weakened side to Salzberg

I'd expect something like this.
Still have, Alisson, Adrian, TAA, Lovren, Matip, VVD, Robbo, Gini, Fab, Milner, Hendo, Keita/Ox, Mane, Salah, Firmino, Origi, and a couple of youngsters.
Have Inglethorpe to manage the side, depending on injuries of course. I reckon also, if the reserve side gets past Villa, they will get to play the semi's as well.
* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.
Liverpool fans who turn out at Villa Park have two flight options that would give them a chance of making kick-off in Qatar.
A flight from Birmingham Airport at 07:50 GMT on 18 December lands in Doha at 17:30 local time, leaving three hours to get from the airport runway to the stands at Education City Stadium.
The cost of that flight was £614 one way at 22:00 GMT on 5 November. The journey from airport to stadium is around 30 minutes, so with smooth progress through security, getting to both games looks possible.
There is also one leaving London Heathrow at 08:00 GMT on 18 December, landing 17:45 local time. That flight cost £509 at 22:00 on 5 November.
What do you mean it could've been anyone? Name me one person who's got a grudge against penguins
