Harsh doesn't figure in the new rules. Hits arm or doesn't hit arm is the only criteriaOriginally posted by McDermotX View Posthttps://www.twitter.com/TheRedmenTV/...83437197352963
Thought it would have been harsh at the time, but the more I look at the loop of it, that movement of the arm just before AOC strikes it is at least an instinctive effort to provide a bigger shield, if not intentional.
This season you frequently see defenders moving their arms behind their backs as shots come in......not so in this case.
Still.....VAR is great, isnt it ?

Actually it's unnatural silhouette of the body.Originally posted by Norbs View PostHarsh doesn't figure in the new rules. Hits arm or doesn't hit arm is the only criteria
And if it comes off your body and hits the arm, that's OK to (post last season), as long as there's no movement of the arm towards the ball of course.
Refs are slow at taking up new rules in this country. Muscle memory one hopes. Like I said earlier, in Europe its stonewall, in this country, I've no idea.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Taking out the instances you mention where it wouldn't be handball, this was handballOriginally posted by labourRed View PostActually it's unnatural silhouette of the body.

A naked eye can tell that it was not straight. Im an Architect, i look at lines on a screen/paper all day long and i can spot a crooked line a mile away. That one is not even close to being striaght.Originally posted by vlahka View PostMy friends tried to use the VAR screen to prove to me it was offside when I sulked about it. I recall someone here saying the red line looked wonky so I tossed it up in photoshop and used a little straightening tool to check. Yeah, its def wonky. How is this allowed.

The photoshop job makes it super clear.
