He was nowhere near poor. Yeah he gave the ball away a couple of times but others did too. I thought he had a good game.

Hes far too slow, hes got really great feet but he holds on to the ball too long

For me until we brought Hendo on we had no control in midfield and whilst that wasnt solely down to Lallana he was a major contributing factor

I thought he played really well at OT

But in that United match he played the ball very quickly which shocked me

Back to normal service yesterday, too many touches and too slow in areas where you have to move the ball quickly

He was ok, involved in plenty of neat interplay as usual, but do doesn't really do anything ultimately. Was very good a few years ago but is surplus to requirements now.

Apart from one instance in midfield, where he did one too many twists and turns and lost possession, I don't see what Lallana did wrong last night? He kept the ball moving, he kept it simple and allowed Milner and Gini to do their thing. Solid, but unspectacular play.

Agree with Lecter, was easily the weak link in midfield.

He did really well for the first goal I thought. Rest of it was not the best, but at least it wasn't Napoli again.

Commentators were praising him for his massive workrate off the ball.

I guess that is quite difficult to appreciate on the TV. And it's probably why our midfield is generally not that well appreciated tbh. Despite the fact that they are crucial to the whole team working.

But basically, if Klopp is happy with a player, then so am I. I'd take his opinion on these things every single time.
