Whoever plays in front of Robbo & TAA have to help out defensively when the lads get forward. It’s usually the midfielders but Sadio has the pace to get back faster than most. If we have Naby & Ox playing at the same time I think it leaves us exposed as they both love to get forward, hence Sadio’s pace is required at times.Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Was speaking to a couple of Flamengo fans at the fanzone in Doha. He said they've brought at least 15,000 fans for this. Also mentioned they still sing about their 3-0 win over us in 1981. They are very much up for this.
One of the problems we've got is our fans are coming from all over but not as one collective unit hence difficult to get the usual songs and atmosphere going in the stadium. In the semi final Monterrey with only around 1,000 created more noise (although they did have a drummer!).

Just here in Qatar for this. Closest competitive LFC games for me (live in SE Asia). Try to get to Anfield once a year but its getting increasingly difficult to get tickets.Originally posted by foresterbloke View PostHave you been lurking in Qatar all this time?
Yeah haven't exactly been prolific with posts but an avid reader of the match threads!

If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Flamengo v Liverpool (Sat, 17:30 GMT)
Liverpool
Jurgen Klopp is now speaking, and BBC's Olly Foster just asked the Liverpool manager if he feels he is on the eve of achieving something special.
He paused before replying: "The situation is different for us as it is for Flamengo. They came here with a clear order to win it and come back home as heroes. We got told to stay at home and play in the Carabao Cup.
"But we are here and my team wants to win this competition. The view in Europe (of the Club World Cup) is different to the view in the rest of the world but we want to change that. Liverpool fans want us to win - most of the other fans don't really care. But we saw what it means to Monterrey by how much they invested to win on Wednesday and it will be the same with Flamengo."Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years
