I never said I agreed with the way VAR has been implemented and the tech does need to improve.... especially the angles.



I think with whole armpit offside earlier in the season they set a precedent. On the goings of the season and how offside var has been used.. that was offside. I am not saying I personally agree with it but that is the way var is being used.

I have been saying the tech isnt up to scratch all season, sure everyone knows that I am not debating that. What I said was everyone is in the same boat and by the current laws/rules/tech/process of var ... that is offside. I never said I agreed with it just that this is what they have been doing with offside var decisions all season.

Poor performance but great 3 points. Why are people debating vara decision in this game.. it was spot on. Currently as it stands the offside goal is offside by the current rules of the game.

Is var still dependent on some human? Yes. Is it perfect? Nope. Can they improve it? Absolutely, but currently by the letter of the law their goal was clearly offside.. the end.

I think poor performance is harsh Dan - we deserved to win that game on all the xG models I have seen. They had plenty of shots but from outside the box or from difficult angles.

I think we’d managed the game well and looked pretty comfortable at the back until late when they targeted a tired Trent. We were wasteful in the final third with Mo being particularly guilty in his decision making.

Wolves are a good side and they were in it when they brought their big hitters on and we managed it. Now it’s all about winning regardless of style or fluency - the games are coming thick and fast + we are managing a depleted squad. The two decisions from VAR were correct irrespective of what any of us think so all good in that front also.

They came to Anfield in May giving it large with their ****ty chants, tough titty ya Wolfy cnuts have some VAR down ya (they did play well despite us being only at 70%)

Jonny Otto quite viciously 'wrestled' the ball off the kid during one of our throw ins. Looked quite bad. If this was one of our players on their ball boy at their ground it'd be front page news tomorrow, and BBC 5Live & Talk****e would dedicate hours talking about it, but unsurprisingly nothing has been mentioned.
