He has over laboured the point at least 2 or three times on the fact that losing the supporters affects us the most. There is nothing to back this up. We've won both home games.

He's also saying that City are a more technical team than us as if that is now a fact. What does that even mean? I'd say the level of our play when we are 'on it' is about as technical as I've ever seen.

I agree, he is maybe over doing the not being biased, but he could give us a bit more credit. Watching one of our games with those 2 commentating is exhausting.

2 times we've lost this season FFS. City have lost 8. And are 1-0 down to Southampton right now.

What he means is city are more technical in the way play with the bsll. Often they control games through constant passing and they probe and have a more measured build up than us. We hustle teams into giving us the ball further up the pitch, we bullh teams into making mistakes and pounce on errors. We are more of a machine but I think they have more options in both personell and attacking intent. Didn't get them far this season though.

People are too touchy about it imo. He's entitled to an opinion, he doesn't **** on us, it is what it is and makes no difference on the pitch. And he's not a complete moron like McManaman

I agree, I just don't think he is giving us enough credit. Carra is being slowly radicalised by Tyler in front of our very ears

Our style is different than Citys, but clearly it doesn't rely solely on the crowd.

So thats 9 defeats for City now out of 33, so something is clearly not working for them. Great result for Southampton, because despite the changes that is a strong City team.

He's trying not to be overly biased and going too far the other way. Neville tried it for a bit and the mask slipped. Opposition fans are going to slate them regardless so they might as well be themselves. Why opposition fans care what he says whilst they watch us play Villa, watch something else lads.

They need to bin Tyler off and freshen it up. At least take him off main events

Shame Pepe couldn't get a Kop welcome today.

Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Yeah he would have got a great reception.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Maybe I looked at this differently (alcohol and all that) but was I the only one who thought there was a subtle dig at the lack of a crowd/noise at the Etihad referenced as well and the technical explanation was just a way of covering that up?
