Gomez was off vs city, but other than that has been good, tonight i thought he was the standout defender (not hard i know)/

THink Sterling got in his head that night, something he needs to learn from

We never have had a relaxed tempo since sealing the league. We maybe haven’t been switched on in key moments but we haven’t dropped off our work rate or tempo overall.
              Are we winning?

100% no way he'd have accepted the standards of some on that pitch.

Mane my MOM, has been last couple of games. He always has that drive about him and most likely to score by making chances. As good as Salah is I can’t recall him driving at players, more that he holds the ball too long or fluffs at decent chances.

With that being said i think we need to look at our attacking patterns of play...we create loads of chances but a lot of those seem to be in tight spaces inside the box. Robbo got to the byline a few times tonight and we did score the
one goal but loads were blocked crosses. Look at City when in same position i feel they look to play the cut back more, perhaps we need more support from midfield runners in that sense. We need to be able to be more clinical & win by bigger margins. Trent is an outstanding talent but sooo many wasted crosses tonight. It’s like one of them will be lucky and reach an attacker but more often they are cleared!

100% need 1 decent forward option this summer. Someone to rotate/challenge our front 3...unless that is Minamino! If so he will need to start producing goals/assists but hopefully he will get that and settle more into the team during this next pre-season.

The foul on Taki was so blatant. If diving really is seen as a problem for the game, those decisions have to be given.

If he goes down there is no doubt it's a penalty, but refs are reluctant to give them when a player stays on his feet
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Arsenal vs Liverpool - Premier League (19/20 - Game 35)

Arsenal had 3 shots on goal. 2 gifted to them and the third from a counter attack at the end. It was total dominance from us. Intensity was there.

These mistakes from these two players won’t happen again.
                        Are we winning?

Mane imo is street's ahead of Mo this season. I know Mo has decent stats but he doesn't seem to take players on anymore and drive past defenders like Mane, he seems a bit more hesitant and predictable this season. Mane is our player of the season imo, he just never stops it is absolutely incredible.

We 100% need another CF, Bobby is brilliant but has been way his best off this season and pretty **** in 2020. Unfortunately Origi and Minamino have looked so below the standard we need for his replacement. Origi will be gone but Minamino will get his chance. He has looked lost so far in a LFC shirt, hopefully he can improve. Maybe Bobby needs that extra bit of competition?

Ox is another player that frustrates me so much, I like that sometimes he drives from midfield and takes shots from outside the box which for some unknown reason we don't want to do but Ox imo hasn't delivered in that price tag so far. Apart from a few games here and there he has mostly been injured or dissapointing.

Record is gone no pressure or expectation. I would like to see us give Jones, Nico, Keita, Mini and Elliott a bit more game time. We bossed the Arsenal game just weren't expansive enough when attacking apart from Mane. Get some fresh legs in there and maybe the fringe players will prove themselves.

I reckon we'll get top 4 next season but not win the league, I think this season's mental focus has us drained.

I agree, you can see what a slight drop off does to the team, i'll get shot down but we need a coutinho type player to help the front 3. The lack of goals from midfield kills us, teams has sussed that stop the front 3 & we are stifled; Robbo, TAA & Virg weighing in with goals this season has masked the midfields lack of goal return.

Some of the knee jerk stuff on here

                                Not entirely surprising though
