Depressing. The referees in this country really are abysmal, it’s beyond a joke, not close to funny how **** they are. The PL clubs need to get together to demand higher standard refereeing without fear of retribution.

It was hardly blowing the whistle with a corner mid-flight. And I suspect he'd decided to blow before the hoof when the ball was innocuously in the centre circle. And it wasn't necessarily early, the ref doesn't record time in whole minutes, they stop and start a stopwatch, even if the assistant only shoes whole minutes on the board.

Klopp's choice in a few games when they were all available though. He's prioritised CB strength with fab (and Hendo) over midfield. Probably reasonable in some games, but maybe not in others.

but it clearly states in the regulations that whatever is on the board is the MNIMUM time added on, so he should have stated 1 min added time, then played 1m54s & not 2 mins.

6 seconds, you're seriously complaining about six seconds discrepancy, with the ball in our own half when the whistle was blown? That was the issue I had with the Twitter thread, we have had a number of major decisions **** is over, and very few help us out. But when you pile on half a dozen petty grumbles, it makes the whole thing seem like a petty grumble.
