There wasn't an attack at the time.

At what time Ken? At the end of added time or when the ref blew? Because we were breaking forward at both

It’s mental that we are still in the top 4

We’ve been on a pretty bad run for about 5 weeks, playing twice a week. If... we can get the like of Jota back and stabilise the defence we have a solid shot at top 4.

Need to turn the corner and find more than just Salah as a goal threat.

We just look done and dusted, take about **** the bed. A genuinely powder puff title challenege. Shattered physically and mentally, zero press, fight & no ideas. Balance of the team is all over the shop, so many square pegs in round holes & replacements coming in aren't the standard we need. Only so many times you can put CM's in CB positions and expect them to function properly. Sort term this might pay off but not long term and I think we are seeing that.

I would hazard a guess that we will see one of the CB's actually playing at CB in the next game and either Fan or Hendo in the midfield which imo should have been the case tonight.

I agree with the first bit, but the second is quite the indictment of Gini, Thiago and Jones - that's not a **** midifeld in this league, maybe not enough for City but for Brighton and Burnley yes. Or is it that Firmino's loss of form is putting pressure on the midfield in general? Last year he spent half his time grafting in there. Are we now feeling light in there?

I can imagine losing the presence of van dijk in the dressing room week in week out is also having an effect. He does come across as a very cool head to have around, which could o my have been a benefit.

Combination of many things isn't imo. Gini's head is gone he's off, Thiago hasn't played well, Jones is nowhere near ready yet, Bobby has been dreadful the the last year, Milner does a job but is so slow, Shaq is a squad player and a crock, Ox is average and a crock, Mane is just so far off this season is untrue & Mo is getting the numbers but pens skew that. No point in even mentioning Keita.

We need Hendo and Fab in that midfield, they protect the defence but also push us further up the pitch. Hendo sets the tempo and Fab locks down that midfield allowing fullbacks to do more damage going forward. Hendo and Fab have done their best at CB, played some good games but the mistakes have started to show back there and it really isn't their fault.

You can't account for **** ups like Ali's but we were not winning that game anyways. Title is done, 4th spot is going to be a real battle. Jurgen has to decide whether to take a gamble on yet another CB partnership but actual CB's which imo is less of a risk than playing two CM's in that position and us losing two of the best CM's in the world from our midfield.

IMO at all costs put the ****ing lads back in their positions and play two of the 3 actual fit CB's we now have at the club at CB. We are really paying for the mistake of not buying a CB when Lovren left.

Not watching is 100% the way to go for me right now. I'm not angry, I expected us to lose. But even though our form is horrible, we are well in a hunt for top 4. Although in a months time it could be worse. I said way back when Jota got injured, that he could be the key as he came in and was easily out best attacking threat. At ease with both feet and prepared to shoot and move about. If he comes back firing, which is a big ask , then we should be able to string a few results together. Now the title has gone, maybe the players can play more freely.
