Historically, we seem to have a soft spot for slightly crazy left backs.
May not robbo, but timi, mad Albert, riise, a period of relative sanity(unless there are some 'stories'), joey Jones.

I think they are very pretty comparable. Robbo maybe a bit more tenacious and experienced, and therefor understands the position better. Definitely a bit faster. Kostas has a far better right foot.
Both capable of delivering assists.
Both work incredibly hard.
It is a great position to be in, and with the level of success we are having both can expect games. "If' we get to the FA Cup final I can see Kostas getting the shirt for that one.
I doubt Robbo would get the same plaudits if we shipped three goals, even with the assists!
I think Kostas might have the better engine of the two now that he is used to training/playing at Liverpool.
Robertson is defo better positionally though imo.
Disagree about the plaudits bit though. We would be raving about that performance had Robertson had it. Was a monster full back show.

Incredible performance from the Greek Scouser once again. He’s such a likeable lad too.

Best ask Buzzo that one.

The way he passes and crosses with his right foot suggests he could well be able to cover at RB.

He already is imo.
Defends as well as Robertson, possibly crosses a bit better and is almost as good with his right foot as he is with his left.
And whilst he does not have the bit of snide that Robertson brings, he does have some sort of a determined stoner thing going on when he gets stuck in.

It's a good job he's loving life here, he could quite rightly ask for a move for more minutes.

He really is pushing for that LB starting spot. Every game he has come into he has impressed. Man of the match imo last night.

In fact, his delivery might even be better than Robertson’s.
For years we’ve had duff LBs and now we have two quality options. He’d be number one LB at a large number of clubs.
