I absolutely love that lad, so talented and such a shame he's a crock. If fit regularly he'd make my bench more often than not.

Yeah he's a really, really good footballer. Versatile player. His passing last night was brilliant. He ran that game. He's very creative and big goal threat. He's a really likeable lad too.

I wouldn't be in a rush to sell him unless someone makes a silly offer.

Klopp admitted it was a mistake to take him off as ankle wasn't too bad. Played him in that deeper role and he was outstanding. Given the opposition were ****e but he is a lovely footballer but yup an absolute crock. Can't leave Thiago out, he's just too good. personally I would go with Hendo, Thiago Gini, even if Gini has been poor in the first two games.

Why would it be too open with Keita?
He was our chief closer downer against Chelsea!

Klopp says Gomez back in training today, Billy back in training, Matip still out and Henderson not training and won't play.

So that's surely a Thiago, Gini and Naby CM.

Either that or Gomez at CB and Fabinho in the middle with Thiago and Gini or Naby.

Hmm without Henderson he might opt for Milner instead of Naby or Gini for experience? We'll see. Gutted Henderson misses out

Gini is one of the senior pros at the club. No concerns about his experience.

Agreed but Gini, Thiago and Naby is a bit...I dunno...without Fab or Hendo we lack real proper defensive mid know-how. I'd probably get Gomez in and stick Fabinho in DM.

It’s not exactly Thiago Alcantara’s first rodeo either

I don't think Thiago starts if everyone is fit. Throwing him without a proper understanding of the system against a decent Arsenal attack is a risk.

Much better for him to scope it out from the bench and impact the last 20-30 mins.

Klopp did mention that the penalty he conceded was because he wasn't up to speed on how we defend yet, so there's a chance you'll be right. Klopp often also errs on the side of caution.

His hand might be forced with Henderson being out though.

I think he'll have had a good week to train with the team by Monday's game though. He'll be much more up to speed by Monday night.

Joyce seems positive about Gomez being ready, so that gives us the 1st choice back 4 and a midfield of Fabinho, Gini, Keita. Shame if Thiago is out, but no worries about that midfield 3.

                            Adrian for Alisson though

Yeah we can manage without Thiago.

Not so up for more Adrian.

Thiago being out would be annoying but Alisson being out would be a massive problem.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
