Adrian, Neco, Hendo and Jota are decent back-ups to be fair. Going to get injuries and squad will need to be used more often this season unfortunately especially with the shortened season. Thank **** we don’t have the Mickey Mouse cup to worry about as well...

Alison Becker has become quite injury prone

Yeah for a bigger fella he's picking up a lot of niggling stuff. I don't have any confidence in adrian at all.

Same. He’s a ‘decent’ but error prone. Not anywhere near as good with the ball at his feet.

Hopefully AB is back for the derby.

I’m not sure about that. If he was having the same reoccurring or related injuries, that would be concerning. But if he’s hurt his shoulder in a collision, then that’s just a freak occurrence and bad luck that could happen to anyone.

Didn't realise there was a correlation between size and injury proneness. If so Carroll must've been one hell of an anomaly.

Actually now that I think about it, most injury prone players are of a decent size (height at least) - Vermaelen, Anderton, King, Hargreaves etc are all of a decent size.

Supports my belief that size is irrelevant when it comes to injury proneness?

Alisson, Matip, Tsimikas, Ox, Thiago, Shaqiri, Mané all out and still that's a great line up and reasonable bench.

It is if course irrelevant. But then you said most injury prone players are of a decent size and listed and string of 6 footers, (and Owen Hargreaves)
