Don't think he ran teh show at all, Watkins was the one that gave Gomez a nightmare, bullied him all night. 3 deflected goal and our keeper is an absolute nightmare. Grealish is very talented though. Worst performance I have seen from any LFC side since i've been supporting the club and we still should have scored 4.Originally posted by dizzycat View PostLooks like I picked the right game to miss. Did Grealish run the show? despite the offfield antics I really rate him.
In saying that Villa could have scored 10

He was really good.Originally posted by dizzycat View PostLooks like I picked the right game to miss. Did Grealish run the show? despite the offfield antics I really rate him.
He and McGinn basically operated between the lines of our team and dominated the game for them.Modifying post.

As Dan says, Watkins caused a lot of damage, but they were generally very well drilled and played as a team. We didn't and got clobbered. We were a proper shambles really and underperformed in all areas of the pitch - keeping, defence, midfield and attack. You can't afford that in the premiership.Originally posted by dizzycat View PostLooks like I picked the right game to miss. My feeling on this is that VAR only checked what happened with Salah and Mings and not the challenge from Villa's #7.Originally posted by Kenneth View PostApart from the usual Twitter clowns, there is literally no way of interpreting this as anything but a blatant penalty

Blatant penalty.
There's no denying we were utterly shambolic at the back but it was such a strange game - everything bounced their way and nothing bounced ours.James Philip Milner Fanclub #1

Shouldnt read too much into this result. It was an incredibly bad day at the office against a team who to their credit, were not afraid to take the game to LFC or press the backline at times.
Seems also like the odd circumstances this season are throwing up some unusual results but even that aside, the team deserve a chance to put it right.
Ultimately a good wake up call. Doesn't matter whether you're champions and record breakers, if you don't turn up well enough, any prem side can cause you major damage.
Thought klopp had it spot on when he mentioned losing the ball in terrible places where it should not be lost. It puts too much on the backs to get the team out of trouble.Y.N.W.A!!!!!!

I hate the kick offs we take (a ball back to Gomez and then a hoof down to the left hand wing where we lose the header but often win the second ball) but...
...I knew it was going to be a bad night when we couldn't even do that right (Gomez scuffed the ball).
TAA and Gomez were poor, but the midfield was absolutely shocking and the manager's first substitution was wrong. And no one lead on the pitch - not even VVD - until Milner got on.

could very well be alright
